My name is Ashley,

I am a board-certified speech-language pathologist. I graduated from the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) in 2008 and received my master’s from Old Dominion University in 2011.

Over the last 12 years, I have provided therapy services at the Children’s Hospital of King’s Daughters and in the Hampton Roads school system. I have administered the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2) over the past 5 years and completed the advanced course. I have training in the Wilson Reading program, which uses the Orton-Gillingham approach (the gold standard for children with Dyslexia). I am dedicated to staying up to date with the latest techniques and technologies and completed the Meaningful Speech training for gestalt language processing.

As a mother of twin girls and a little boy, I have the passion needed to help children and families reach their speech goals. I am an active member of the community and spearheaded a project to get 11 AAC communication boards in Virginia Beach parks and recreation centers.

I look forward to getting to know you and your loved ones!
