My name is Liz,
I am a board-certified speech-language pathologist. I was born and raised in Virginia Beach. I graduated with my bachelor of science from James Madison University in 2014 and received my masters there in 2016 ( Go Dukes!!)
Over the last 9 years, I have provided therapy services at the Children’s Hospital of King’s Daughters. I have administered the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2) over the past 4 years and completed the advanced course. I have training in the Wilson Reading program, which uses the Orton-Gillingham approach (the gold standard for children with Dyslexia). I am in the process of completing the Meaningful Speech training for gestalt language processing. I have experience with pediatric feeding disorders along with augmentative and alternative communication evaluation and treatments. I have worked collaboratively with a variety of other therapists and members of the community to ensure my patients receive the best care possible.
I am a girl mom of two and love spending my free time running races or being at the beach. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
